It was not expected but it happened. The chopper carrying remains of the late Matungu Mp lost direction and landed in the forest causing scare and confusion for the pilot.
It is reported, the elder wife of the late Mp had persisted in burying his husband in Lugari home while the entire clan and family had followed the wish of the late- to be buried in Matungu constituency where he lived with the second wife.
It took the intervention of Lugari Mp and family members to convince the elder wife to accept the wish of the late before the chopper managed to find its way again. Reports also say that the elder wife had to talk to the coffin saying that ” I accept and allow you to be buried in Matungu kindly go”
After doing so, the chopper took off peacefully and landed in Lugari safely. It is also alleged after the incident, she did not follow the coffin anymore leaving the second wife and other family members with it. Stay here for more information.
