Bungoma county Mcas will today move an impeachment motion against Wangamati.
Trouble for Wangamati started from the day it was alleged that he had inflated prices of jerricans from 1000 to10000 each. This did not go down well with a section of Mcas who read corruption and embezzlement of funds.
“Our governor has bloated the prices of the of of the jerricans. This covid 19 funds were meant to help the people but the governor has played games here” an Mca who did not wish to be named said.
Wangamati’s woes started when he took part in the ouster of Wetangula.
The ouster led by Hon Simiyu Eseli and Hon Wamunyinyi has caused a rift in Ford Kenya.
Yesterday all Wangamati leaning Mcas were dewhiped from their positions as chair of committees in the Bungoma county assembly and their positions taken by Wetangula friendly Mcas. This is to prepare grounds for the impeachment on Hon Wangamati.
Today an impeachment motion on Wangamati is expected in Bungoma county assembly
