Meanwhile here is how it went in the FKF vs ADEL AMROUCHE CASE BEFORE DECISION FOR COMPENSATION BY CAS-FIFA DISCPLINARY NOTICE

In February 2013 Football Kenya Federation under the administration of Sam Nyamweya, appointed Mr. Adel Amrouche ast he Head Coach of the Senior men’s National team Harambee Stars.

In August 2014, FKF terminated Mr. Amrouche’s contract after he was suspended by Confederation of African Football (CAF) and appointed Mr.Bobby Williamson in his place.

In 2016, Mr. Amrouche petitioned FIFA’s Players Status Committee on the termination of his contract by Football Kenya Federation.

FKF responded to the petition and defended the right of the federation to hire another coach to lead the national team,as his suspension came in the middle of aqualifying campaign.

On August 31,2017, FIFA communicated the decision of the Players Status Committee where the coach was awarded USD650,000, which is approximately KES 65 Million plus interest that had accrued since July 2014.

Football Kenya Federation immediately appealed the case to the Court of Arbitrationfor Sport (CAS) and engaged Mr.Dev Kumar Parmar of Parmar Sports, a well renowned firm that specializes in sports law and litigation to represent FKF.

Mr. Amrouche also appealed to CAS as he was not satisfied with the amount that was awarded to him by FIFA’s Players Status Committee.

The matter was finally determined and a ruling made by CAS on September 19 2019, in which Mr. Adel was awarded KES 108,194,863. Further, in a ruling dated December18, 2019, CAS directed Football Kenya Federation to pay Mr. Amrouche afurther amount of CHF 10.989, which is approximately KES1,181,511.
