Hon. Mudavadi meets ‘team Kenya’ senators over BBI.

Amani National Congress leader Hon Mudavadi today held a meeting with Team Kenya senators over BBI.

This was Mudavadi’s second high profile meeting after holding such a similar meeting yesterday with the Kenya council of Elders who later met the Deputy president at Karen.

Team Kenya senators includes the Narok senators Ledama Ole Kina, Makueni’s Mutula Kilonzo jnr, Sen Malala of Kakamega, Sen Murkomen of Elgeyo Marakwet among others.

The senators gained national fame when they rallied together to challenge the proposed revenue sharing formular that many believed was discriminating against some other counties.

An update on Mudavadi’s social media page while breaking the news of the meeting reads..

@MusaliaMudavadi I met with Team Kenya senators to consult on the recently launched BBI report. The leaders agreed to push for the opening of a widow for further all-inclusive consultations on the contents of the report as a way of arriving at a win-win, non-contested referendum.

Speaking to the www.goodmorningKenya team after the meeting, Sen Malala said that the ‘team Kenya’ senators chose to engage Hon Mudavadi due to his sober approaches on matters of national importance.

”Hon Mudavadi is ever sober and always ready to listen and accommodate divergent views. As team Kenya senators, we held a fruitful engagement on several issues touching on BBI and current issues affecting the nation” Malala said.

Hon Mudavadi is on record pointing out several issues on the proposed BBI report that was released to the public.

By Sen Malala leading the team Kenya senators in a meeting with Mudavadi, it shows how the Western Kenya youths will engage on matters BBI considering that Hon Malala is a very important personality by virtue of him being the Western/Mulembe Youth Movement which revolves around propelling Mudavadi to state house.
