Being in opposition NOT about abuses, demonstrations and throwing stones. That’s NOT the way! Its about POLICIES. Mudavadi

After the Handshake, do we have an opposition?
I as Musalia Mudavadi and our Party ANC, have always made comments whenever we feel something is not right in government.

I have been consistent and vocal..

Recently when our fellow Kenyas were under peril in diaspora due to Corona, I noted that Passports are issued in the name of the President of Kenya and that it was upon the government to ensure, that those Citizens who were facing challeges in those diaspora countries be evacuated. You saw the government heeded.

On matters of Education, I asked the government to have a stakeholder meeting on school reopening. The concerned Ministry has now formed a special committee to oversee the process of reopening of our schools and matters of National Examinations.

As a matter of fact, our role is purely opposition. A responsible opposition. I talked about the delay in recruiting a new Auditor General after the exist of Dr. Edward Ouko who retired months ago. The government has now placed adverts on interviewing those candidates who would fill the position.

These are among many other issues of National importance and interests that I have been keeping the government on check .

Some people think being in the opposition is about abuses, demonstrations and throwing stones. That’s not the way! Its about POLICIES
