A widow in Bungoma county complained loudly for lack of night warmth and a man in her life. The widow who moved the crowd during a public function in Bungoma, told listeners that if you are a married woman and you live with your husband, don’t mistreat him, no matter the situation.

Even if he is broke, drunk or lazy, appreciate him. She narrated how she lost her husband of 25 years and how she misses him. She said that, when night falls, I look at his grave and just wonder who will hold me through this night.

It’s a long night, darkness will be my friend throughout the rest of my life. She moved the crowd to laughter when she said, if she sleeps on the road and spreads her legs, it will not take her 5 minutes before a man runs to her and continues with the days business, but if a man did the same act, no woman will run to him.

So men are rare to find and if you have one, value him, treat him, care for him, because loneliness and long nights of being alone is a bad thing and especially when you still have sexual urges like me. Since her husband died it is a year now, no man winks at her. She tries to wink even to boys in their 30s, they don’t normally return the wink. She advised women to remember that man in your life is special and without him, temptations will drive you crazy.
