There was drama in Saboti constituency as   irate youths pounced on their area mp causing bodily harm.

According to a video that has since gone viral, the Mp had visited the area ostensibly to oversee some development projects and to popularize BBI.

Speaking to the public after he reported the matter to the police, Amisi stated that he was in his constituency to launch an administration complex at the Masinde Muliro Secondary School when an irate crowd landed on him roughing him up and causing bodily harm.

“I would not have gone to the Police if I had not been beaten up. I was beaten and even injured and this should not continue especially coming from my people.

“I do not have to be a Member of Parliament. If beating me up is what it means to be an MP, then I would rather resign and go back home to my wife and children,” Amisi told the gathering.

The first time Odm legislator is facing a hard time even as he readies himself to defend his seat in the coming election.

Amisi was crowned the maghribi youth movement spokesperson recently and he was being looked upon to play a pivotal role in popularizing BBI in western Kenya.

The Magharibi movement that was hived off the Malala led Mulembe youth movement is an outfit gravitating towards ODM leader Raila Amollo Odinga while the Malala led outfit is solidly behind Mudavadi.

The humiliation on Amisi dents his image further and diminishes his chances of recapturing the Sabot seat.

The irate youths who roughed him up accused him of abandoning them only showing up when he needs their support.
