With Jubilee party losing the Juja seat to little known PEP led by Hon Moses Kuria MP for Gatundu South is a tragedy for the Kenyatta family. Incidentally, Moses Kuria is the presidents Mp.
Juja constituency has had several Mps since independence. Gitu Wa Kahengeri a freedom fighter was its first Mp with Mzee Jomo Kenyattas son becoming among the Mps.

Kenya’s first President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta married four wives, Grace Wahu, Edna Clarke, Grace Wanjiku and Mama Ngina.
His children included President Uhuru Kenyatta, by his fourth and youngest wife, Ngina.
Little is known about Kenyatta’s other wives and children. His eldest son Peter Muigai Kenyatta by first wife Grace Wahu was born in 1920 and died in October 1979, barely a year after his father’s demise on August 22, 1978.
Peter Muigai Kenyatta, Mzee Kenyatta’s eldest son and former Juja MP who died in 1979. Peter Kenyatta resembled the late Stanly Oloitiptip who was also his friend and who also died of excessive fats on his neck in early 1980s.Peter Muigai died when a group of political thugs in Juja lifted him high up during 1979 General Elections Campaign before dropping him down in what was believed to be pure murder.His belly busted into two upon being violently dropped and died on the spot.A year later in 1980 one of his wives was found murdered in Githurai,Nairobi . He had some 23 children ,from 6 wives.One of his sons is believed to be an MP in South Sudan.
