You know what a heated and emotional debate it was when some elements within and without Luhya politics wanted to engineer a move to replace Hon. Musalia Mudavadi as the Luhya supremo who has since Janaury 30th 2018, stopped playing second fiddle to Hon. Raila.

You know these cheap elements who cant stand for anything meaningful. According to their failed script, they want a cosy easy nice and Mr. yes sir for their 2022 survival and political expression. With Hon. Mudavadi as the Luhya supremo, their chances of survival is minimal. These microwave politicians, who want what they want and want it now, not good for luhya politics.

If you look at their movement inside politics, their political stand, political utterances, you will not fail to stand and wonder, unless you’re a political forest baboon, why these seeds of polical type have no permernent political party to which they work for, yet their use is be used as mediums to sow political discord, political deceit and project baseless political weather forecast for a political rain that will never rain in Luhya politics.

Look, they say, the older a wine gets, the sweater, the wine becomes, this is the story of Hon. Musalia Mudavadi with Luhya politics. You might have differences of opinion with him, but Hon. Musalia Mudavadi still has 25 to 30 years on top of Luhya politics because no matter what happens, political notions and reactions still remains constant at the top.

You might jump high or shout hoarse, you might receive money at night to speak in discordant voices, plan night meetings, drink chai and mandazi at your pleasure but Hon. Musalia Mudavadi is still the head that will make Luhya a presidency today and tomorrow.

Due to his stature and standing, the politics of Luhya community has come of age and any binding decision can’t be decided by a night gang whose motive and agenda in the high leafy suburbs of the city is suspicious and subjected to attendee’s fee.

Through Hon. Mudavadi the community is looking at the presidency, not the deputy presidency. The presidency is not a preserve of special communities in Kenya. Unfortunately few elements within and without Luhya politics have perfected the art of mental deception, mental trap, mental deceit and metal confusion far too long.

The centre for this deception was coined in 2002, 2007, 2013, 2017 but in 2022, time has come this deception must be debunked, demystified and dethroned because power is ABSOLUTE, TOTAL and don’t fool yourself, if your neighbour is in power, he will rule over you, he will determine what you get, when you get it and how you get it, a good example is the Luhya community UNDER jubilee administration.

The con games being played by the so called 27 mps who met at a secret location under the auspices of unknown forces is evidence enough that the creators of deception within Luhya politics are not sleeping yet, are not relenting yet, are not letting go yet. They understand, the biggest weakling in Luhya politics is the overstretching gluttonous appetite and rampant ravaging appetite and desire for money from unsatisfied Luhya mps.

They will do anything once money is involved. They will throw their mama under the bus once money is involved. They will disregard you, disperse you, spite you, despise you, slight you, disrespect even their honour once money is throw in their midst.

So the purported night meeting of 27 mps is nothing new, it has been there before, remember, they can have as many meetings as they can, if their funder has more money to spend they are good to hire, but the real decision will be made in Bukhungu stadium or Masinde Muliro gardens and ratified by the members who the Luhya community who respect, revere and honour any decision made in Bukhungu or Muliro.

Any other decision in the city hotel, let it be treated as a city chai and mandazi meeting decision. The Luhya community missed presidency in 2002, 2007, 2013, 2017 but 2022, is their to lose! The new circus is an illusion, a desperate maneuver by a desperate man who thinks, lording over the community, planting deception, using rule and divide will make him become president after Uhuru.
