A popular Kenyan musician Steve Kay real name Stephen Wekesa Masinde has been caught in a compromising situation with a friends’s wife.
The Mbe Mukhasi (give me a woman hit maker )artist who was born and raised in Muanda village in the border of Kanduyi and Bumula constituencies is known for his fine touch when it comes to music, for trendy clothes and fine women, was caught in the act with his “hand” in the cookies jar.
“I really wanted to kill him. After investigating him for almost three Month today I got him red handed. Steve has his ancestors to thank for saving him” the woman’s husband only identified as Manu was heard saying.
Police on patrol heard the commotion emanating from a nearby guest house and moved in only to find the artist bleeding profusely after a thorough beating from the enraged hubby.
“This boy is confusing our wives with the dirty money he has been making from singing in Nairobi night clubs. He can have Cate if he so wishes but atleast he will not repeat it” Manu added.
We are not sure if Kay will keep the offending woman. This issue has ignited many questions on social media circles considering that the artist is married with two beautiful kids.
Sources from the ground indicate that Steve will be charged for causing public disorder once the investigations are complete. However the husband to the lady has stated that he will not be suing him only saying that the beating was enough.
Steve Kay started as a gospel singer who never imagined that he
would one day play his music to a charged city crowd and adoring fans across the country and beyond.
Born 28 years ago in Bungoma County, the former gospel artist’s breakthrough came in 2013 when he composed a song in praisw of Sen Wetangula’s by election.
Other songs include Bamurili, Bayuda and Mbe mukhasi.
