Nairobi woman rep Hon. Passaris will always be on the wrong side of publicity no matter what she does time of the act not withstanding. She was once cut into pieces during the 2017 Gubernatorial debates by one man called Miguna Miguna and Kenyans never stopped laughing at her defence.
In recent times she received tongue slaps from the then powerful Governor of the city Hon. Mike Mbuvi Sonko, who went as far as releasing Audio tapes that went viral like bush fire engulfing those who met it with laughter. That not being enough, many Kenyans of varied decency have had an issue to pick with the most expensive woman rep in the country.
Bloggers have not spared her either, they have dressed her down without mincing their words, some of the statements they have said, can’t go for public printing. The question has remained, what is wrong with Nairobi Woman Representative seat?
Nairobi replaced Manzi wa Nairobi with Hon. Passaris many thinking that her decisions will brain over matter but as far as her public records stands, may be Shebesh wasn’t a bad tomatoe after all. ” Hii tuko nayo ni nyanya bondeka kabisa” Those who have come into contact with her think.
In the entire country, she is the most expensive Ngaaf accounts holder. She receives more millions of shillings than anyone any of the 47 women reps we have. Many Kanyans and especially Nairobi residents, still don’t understand how she spends her public budget.
From the way she operates, there is nothing worthy any writer’s ink and paper about the success of her projects since she joined the August house. Either she is out of touch with basic Nairobi needs, or may be she receives poor advice from handlers or just may be, she takes too much holiday in Turkey, Jerusalem and Greece, then she forgets her mandate.
On April 1st 2020 she launched sanitary pads for Nairobi girls. While good hearts and especially the vulnerable will see this move as a good gesture, many critical thinkers are asking her to justify why her photo needs to be on the children’s pads?
They are asking her, is she the one in need or the poor urban girls who are in need and who is supposed to be on the pad cover? Why is she taking mileage for charity? Why is she using public money to cement her image in the hearts and minds of this young ones?
Why would she take advantage of the situation?
In the entire Nairobi county, did she search for girls group photo and never found? These are questions the supporters of Manzi wa Nai or those voters who thought it was brain over matter are asking the almost looking slay queen of city politics. Many Kenyans who reacted to her Facebook page, have told her, this is not your money, don’t use our money to manipulate our children.
