300 security guards return to work at BM security after Knpswu boss Bro Isaac Andabwa intervined.

Knpswu sg Btother Isaac Andabwa has today successfully negotiated with BM security to have guards who had been interdicted at BM security returned to work.

# REDUNDANCY DUE TO COVID19.

Today at BM Security Company along side KNPSWU officials, Bro. Joash Soita( Nairobi County Branch Secretary), Bro. Thomas Kiptoo( National Organising Secretary), Bro. Jack Omenda ( National Administrator).
Together with BM top management led by HRD- Mr. Dennis Michieka and BM Union shopstewards we held a consultative and mitigative meeting that arrived at :

# 300 workers return to wotk at BM security

The management recalling over 300 guards that were on unpaid leave amid this Corona pandemic to resume duty effective this June.

Mitigation measures towards the guards as they continue to execute service amid Corona, we agreed its essential and important for the management to focus on the safety of guards by ensuring and providing the officers with masks, sanitizers and handwashes at there work stations.

“We want tothank BM management for heeding our clarion call to rescue over the 300 guards ; whose livelihood and dependency had been cut short by COVID-19 pandemic.
This is the spirit to emulate by other Private security company  providers as we all focus on fighting the pandemic. It is All about social, mutual dialogue  and Not physical fights as perceived by many when Union matters are in place” Mr Andabwa said.

The over 300 guards who had been rendered jobless thanked the Knpswu sg for his swift action.
