Leaders Mourn the demise of Ken Manono an aide to Mudavadi.

Amani National Congress and Kenyans at large are mourning the demise of Mr. Ken Manono popularly known as Manosh Jr and aide to Hon Musalia Mudavadi.

The sad demise came at a time the party was celebrating Matungu’s win where Ken had played a pivotal role.

‘’I have learned of the sudden demise of Ken Manono with profound shock and sadness. Ken Was a friend and a brother besides being a dedicated and loyal party soldier. My heartfelt condolences to the family. Ken had worked so hard to help us clinch the Matungu seat and it is so sad that he did not live to celebrate with us the victory. Rest in Peace Ken Manono ‘’ Hon Mudavadi said while expressing his shock.

Kiminini Member of Parliament (MP)Dr. Chris Wamalwa stated: “Condolences to the family and friends of Ken Manono an aide to Hon Musalia Mudavadi . He was in high spirits last week when he represented Hon Mudavadi during the launch of Kiminini NG-CDF funded school bus. He was very committed to the Mulembe unity campaign. May his soul RIP.”

Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris recounted times she had shared with the deceased stating that he had been an asset to her.

“All the plans. All the laughs. Little did we know you would take the bow out of life this soon. We talked. We texted. And then came the post that silenced you forever but the memories of the man you were, the family you loved, the dreams you had will never die.

“I shall be there for what you believed in and those you loved with zeal and zest in life and laughter,” she posted.

May almighty God give you strength and comfort you during this difficult time of grief. I have lost a true friend, a brother. In a long post on his wall, Mr. Sloya shared a screenshot of his last moments with Ken Manono where he intimated to him that after the Matungu seat he will be taking it slow on matters politics.

A bout a week ago, Manono posted on his fb page an update which indicated that he was not feeling well but despite that, he still went forth and actively engaged in ensuring that his party ANC clinched the Matungu seat.

On February 28th, the deceased took to his fb page and wrote,

From the update, it now emerges that Ken was suffering silently but was putting on a brave face. Being a politician he is, Ken would actively take part in the Matungu by-election but he was overwhelmed and friends rushed him to St Mary’s hospital upon admission, he developed breathing problems and the doctors tried their best to put him on oxygen, Ken passed on.

Ken will be remembered for his unapologetic and firm stand in advocating for luhya unity and for a Mudavadi presidency. His body lies at the Kakamega Hospital mortuary as plans for his final send-off are underway.

Ken Manono will be laid to rest at his ancestral village in Chavakali , Sabatia sub county of Vihiga county.
