C. E. O Ketraco Limited Fernandes Barasa is A Political Novice and a greenhorn in Kakamega politics.

I took my precious time to go through this piffle piece written by my brothers Nathan Ochunge of Standard media group and Collins Chibole of Lubao Fm in an online platform called “The County Splash.” Truthfully, I can only detect total desparation on both ends.
To make it clear, placing Fernandes Barasa ahead of Mp Hon. Ayub Savula, Former Senator Bonny khalwale, Current Senator. Cleophas Malalah and Deputy Governor Philip Kutima in a poll is more of bushwa & codswallop.
Fernandes Barasa is a callow in Kakamega politics, his name ain’t known beyond the village he was born in. So far, he has not stepped outside his compound fence to ask for votes or support for that matter.
Therefore, claiming he can beat seasoned politicians like Hon. Savula, Hon. Khalwale and others is ironical & Laughable.
His (Fernandes) “Track record at the State owned Company – Ketraco” as termed in the said platform(county splash) is riddled with constant embezzlement of funds, corruption, unfair resettlement of people among many other ills.
The Foundation founded on his name(Barasa Foundation) can only produce a dozen Reflectors and free less than a 100 donated Huru pads.
Fernandes not known beyond his own compound.
Simple exercise, drop Fernandes Barasa at Mumia’s Town or Matungu for that matter, let him walk around. Truthfully, none will recognize him, not even his own villagers. Do the same by dropping Hon. Savula at the same spot, or Malalah, or khalwale, trust me, they will attract a mammoth of a crowd within seconds.
Therefore, am disappointed that Young Boys can peddle propaganda, lies and innuendos just to make ends meet by molding a mountain out of a deserted anthill. If Barasa can buy & support such garbage then he must be the dumpest man on earth.
I sincerely hope that one day, Youths(in this case the two boys) will stand up and ignore the 15k they receive from Fernandes Barasa and adhere to Journalism code of conduct.
Lastly, let it be known that if elections were held, Fernandes Barasa will come after Hon. Savula, Hon. Khalwale, Hon. Malalah, Hon. Kutima Hon. Anangwe, Amukoa and Atemba
