It was pomp and color as more than 1000 Gatina ward voters received cheques from the incumbent Gatina ward MCA.
Hon David Ayoi who is seeking to defend his seat on ODM party under the Azimio banner has emphasized on the importance of Education.
”The future of our kids can only be guaranteed if we try our level best in educating our young ones.” Ayoi said.
Hon Ayoi further drummed up support for the Azimio LA Umoja presidential flag bearer Hon Raila Odinga.
”Hon Odinga is the only man well placed to steer this country to greater heights. Baba has been in trenches fighting for democracy and the general well being of our Nation. I want to beseech you all to rally behind Baba as he liberates this country. I also want to humbly request you all to rally behind ODM candidates in the city” Ayoi said amid chants of Ayoi tank tens.
Hon Ayoi is poised to retain his seat owing to his development record.
Speaking at the even Dagoretti North women league boss Madam Josephine Okwero implored on all Gatina ward voters to rally behind Hon Ayoi.
”We have all seen what Ayoi has done, road network is good, bursaries are here, lighting and youth and women empowerment is here for us to see. Let us all vote for Hon Ayoi and Raila Amolo Odinga” Okwero said.
