“CONGRATULATIONS MR PRESIDENT”! Caf salutes Nick Mwendwa over his re election victory as FKF boss.

The Confederation of African football has congratulated Mr Nick Mwendwa President Fkf for his re election . According to a letter seen by www.goodmorning Kenya.com, the goodwill message from Caf reaffirms the confodence Caf has not only in Nick Mwendwa’s ability to lead Kenya’s soccer but goes further to underscore Kenyas’ strategic position as a footballing Nation.

“I was not surprised when I learned about your brilliant election at the head of the
Football Kenyan Federation, thus confirming the high performance and the high
efficiency of your work since 2016, the year of your first taking office, and I hasten to
present you my most warm and sincere congratulations.
On behalf of the Executive Committee of CAF and personally, I wish you every success in
your endeavors.
This second term, which you obtained by an impressive majority, is the demonstration
that your entire term has been appreciated and strongly supported.
Considered as one of our youngest National Association President, you represent a role
model and an example of pride to follow for African sports youth, and I remain convinced
that you will continue all of your actions with the same vigor and the same
determination.
I encourage you on this path to success which reflects the prestigious ambition of the
Kenyan nation which has made the sport a national priority.

Nick Mwendwa’s re election opens a new leaf in Kenya’s soccer management and the politics around the top office.

President Nick Mwendwa’s in tray is already full first of which is steering the good game as Kenya navigates the tough Covid 19 times which has halted the action since March.

Mr Nick Mwendwa was overwhelmingly re elected beating 4 other contestents by garnering 77 votes while his closest challenger Ludovick Aduda got 5, votes.

The elections now marks an end to a circus that has taken more than a year with constant court battles that Nick won.

Harambee stars is now preparing for continental assignments and the peace and tranquility at Kandanda house with Nick Mwendwa on the driving seat, Kenyans can now breath a sigh of relief as the wait for the good game to kick off
