The recent remarks by the environment CS Kerianko Tobiko on the deputy president Hon Ruto has continued to illicit reactions from the Kalenjin Nation and Kenyans at large.
The environment CS called the deputy president a clerk despite the clear knowledge that the deputy president is the second in command on the land.
His derogatory words both to the person of the deputy president and the office he holds were misconstrued by some quarters as an indirect attack by the appointing authority comouflaged as simple off the carf remarks by the CS.
This however did not go unchallenged by several Mps taking to different media outlets to call the Cs to order.
It is however the silence of the executive arm the government that has led to several outbursts by Dr Ruto’s ardent supporters.
Johanna Ngéno in a long video that has since gone viral is heard daring the president to either lead from the front using the country’s constitution or pack and go back to Gatundu.
It is this and other thin veiled attack on the president that has led to his arrest this afternoon.
