Vihiga County Woman Mp Hon Adagala to the rescue of blind soccer star Martin Imbalambala
Ailing former Afc leopards captain Martin “Korea” Imbalambala has a reason to smile.
This is after the Vihiga county woman Mp Hon Beatrice Adagala visited the now blind soccer player at his home in Kisatiru village of Sabatia constituency.
“Iam happy for the kind gesture my fans are showing me at this hour of need. Iam particularly grateful for the words of encouragement and visit from Hon mama kaunti Adagala. Going blind has caused me untold suffering but atleast I can see light at the end of the tunnel” said Imbalambala.
While handing over some shopping to Imbalambala, the woman rep pledged to walk with Imbalambala untill he regains his sight.
” The doctors’s report on Martin is very encouraging, it is only lack of finance that has taken Martin this long to regain his formerself. As a mother it pains me to see such a young man who brought much joy to most of us when he appeared for Afc leopards. We shall walk with him and put a smile back on his face” Hon Adagala said.
Last week we highlighted Imbalambala’s plight prompting fans to visit and encourage the former skipper.
Martin Imbalambala has been receiving treatment from Sabatia eye hospital but lack of 450 000 has stalles the progrogress. He has been blind since 2018
