Western Kenya Mps meet Cs Matiangi as they lobby for completion of projects in Western.
- Western Kenya MPs and Governors led by CoG chair and Kakamega Governor Hon Wyclifee Oparanya had a very successful consultative meeting with members of the Cabinet Monitoring and implementation committee led by CS interior Dr Fred Matiangi focussing on regional development at KICD
. The meeting agreed on a broad range of projects that should be prioritized by the government. Hon Osotsi passionately pushed for the prioritization and implementation of the following projects in Vihiga county.
1.) Ekwanda-Luanda-Esirulo-Magada Road
2.) Luanda-Wemilabi-Magada-Mbihi-Mbale Road
3.) Mago-Chamakanga-Wangulu-Lusui/Vokoli Road
4.) Museno-Kaimosi Road
5.) Ebunangwe TTI
6.) Last Mile Electricity Connectivity for all unconnected schools (approximately 70 schools).
7.) Granite Factory at Ebuyangu
8.) Infrastructure upgrade at Chavakali High School and Bunyore Girls in line with govt directive to upgrade newly established national schools.
9.) Award of charter to Kaimosi University College regardless of govt policy on establishment of new universities.
10.) Completion of all pending works on Kisumu-Kakamega road
11.) Completion of Belgium sponsored water project
12.) Issuance of titles to people who were relocated from Mbale, Vokoli and Mudete and settled in Kakamega forest in shiru ward.
13.) Upgrade of Ebwali Secondary School
