Hon Stazo: Respect Atwoli and stop dragging Raila & Odm into your Internal party issues.

Hon Stazo Omung’ala a Nairobi county assembly member representing Upper Savanna Ward has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the Mulembe nation politics.
Addressing the media outside the Nairobi county assembly, Hon Stazo laughed off the continued dragging of Raila’s name in the unfolding Ford Kenya leadership woes.
“It is regrettable that our brothers in Ford Kenya have chosen the path of mudslinging Hon Raila instead of seeking ways and means of solving the impasse brought about by the alleged take over of their party leadership.
Hon Wamunyinyi is not an Odm member and so is Hon Eseli the party Sg. Infact Hon Wetangula was once nominated by Kanu whereas Hon Wamunyinyi has known no any other party than Ford Kenya.
In short what is unfolding in Ford Kenya has nothing to do with our party Odm and dragging us into their woes is pathetic to say the least. Odm brags of over 140 Mps and over 23 Governors and senators across the country why would a party of such magnitude fight Ford Kenya?” Stazo quiped.
On the developing bad blood between Cotu boss and Anc party leader Hon Mudavadi emanating from the day Atwoli hosted luhya leaders at his Kajiado home, the Savanna ward Mca did not mince his words.
“It is common knowledge that Dr Francis Atwoli in his distiguished capacity as a Luhya elder coronated Mudavadi as our Luhya leader. That position has not changed. Hon Mudavadi should be leading the Luhya nation from all fronts politically, socially and economically.
He has the mantle let him lead us, let him call delegations at his Mululu home and give directions. Infact we are still waiting for the welcome party after the Bukhungu coronation.
Dr Atwoli as late as yesterday on his twitter handle confirmed that Mudavadi is the Luhya Kingpin. He should therefore not stoop too low to apoint of crying on behalf of Ford Kenya as they wrangle. One may be forgiven for thinking Ford Kenya is a branch of Anc” he said.
“The Hon Mudavadi has been in government longer than Raila, but Raila’s short stint has seen Kisumu airport spring up, good road networks, and now Kisumu port is almost ready. It is such economic milestones plus Raila’s reform credentials that have endeared some of us to Odm” he added.
Hon Stazo further believes that bashing Hon Raila and Dr Atwoli will not propel anybody to any position.
“The only way up is through talking to Kenyans across board but this old and tired narrative of retreating to tribal enclaves is what BBI is trying to correct. Atwoli is an elder and must be respected. What happened to respecting elders?wondered Stazo.
