- Raila is selfish and wants all for himself.
The fact is that in all the political dealings between Mudavadi and Raila, or even any other previous persons who have made partnerships with rails, It’s always Raila at center stage of benefiting. It’s only in 2002 that he accidentally endorsed Kibaki and it haunts him until today. In all political dealings between Mudavadi and Rails, it’s always Raila who is in need of Mudavadi’s support. And any request on the vise versa is labeled as coward or traitor. Mudavadi has never benefited from Raila. Mudavadi therefore doesn’t need raila at all. Infact, Mudavadi needs Wetangula, Ababu, Eugene and Oparanya more to bring together Western as one house then seek political partners of good will outside Western.
2. Mudavadi must chat his way without Raila.
For Mudavadi to continuously amass his support base and start expanding out, he must leave mzee to fade away with political menopause gradually. An imagination of inheriting raila’s political base is a fallacy and should not be any close to his mind. Because our Luo people only believe in a Luo, after Raila they will raise someone to take up the mantle. Mudavadi must chat his way now and only cooperate in future with luo brothers with someone genuine.
3. Raila is a bully. Not bankable.
In luhya culture, you must always respect the elderly. By this virtue, Mudavadi has kept all this virtues to submit to the elderly Raila in any political dealings involving the two. To this extend, it always pulls back the efforts Mudavadi is ever trying and always takes him back to square one. This time round. Mudavadi must avoid any political engagements at the moment and build the luhya house first. Those who believe in Raila and his odm should continue, those who see the need for a United luhya force should join Mudavadi and Weta.
4. Mudavadi and Wetangula must formalize partnership.
After the humiliation of Wetangula by odm in Senate, it became very clear that having small disintegrated parties in Western is their greatest weakness and creates room for intimidation at will. This opened their eyes. The negotiations between Mudavadi and Wetangula are now at an advanced stage to form one formidable Western political vehicle. After achieving this, it will now be wiser to seek political friendship outside western. Due to the bad blood that Wetangula has with Raila after being ejected from Senate seat by ODM mafia, any engagement Mudavadi makes with raila will derail this efforts with Wetangula to bring the luhya nation together.
5. The luhya Legislators need a big brother who can talk on their behalf in case of political attack and intimidation.
Raila speaks for his luo brothers, the rest mjipange. Mudavadi as an elder son of the soil must always be there to speak for his younger brothers. They may not say it, but they need him. Many young Western politicians with no money to pull campaign rallies will always run to join established political partners to ride on the wave and abandon the home parties, but years later, when the political dealings and punishments occur in the houses, they run all over saying we are under attack as mulembe people. They realize that all the time in the committees, they are under the mercy of the outside parties, so they must conduct themselves like flower girls “NDIO BABA PHILOSOPHY” to keep their positions. To end this, the western legislatures must accept to come together, form a formidable vehicle to bargain with a voice on political tables. Today, some are even afraid to associate with their Party leaders like Wetangula and Mudavadi so that they can keep their seats in committees.
6. Raila is mischievous and untrustworthy.
Just like a jilted lover in the Narc government between Raila and Kibaki, Raila learnt that you can always bring on board other partners to help achieve what you want and later forget it and eat the fruits alone. Today, odm doesn’t recognize NASA, just ensure that all the political funds meant for NASA parties are not let out of custody by Odm. This is a betrayal of the much efforts many parties sacrificed in campaigning in 2017. Mudavadi should never repeat that mistake with Raila again. He has supported him enough and raila has betrayed him enough.
7. Mudavadi should recapture all the majority seats in Western.
This will completely erode Railas name in Western. This is very possible. Previously, Rails has always controlled all numbers in Western. For the first time, with just a young party, Mudavadi managed to get majority number of MPs in Western in 2017. That means it’s much possible. With now well laid down ground and ANC office, Mudavadi should prepare well to get majority of governors and mca seats to top up on MPs in Western in collaboration with his brother Wetangula. Raila will be a forgotten story here. He can now come as a visitor, and Mudavadi will be glad to welcome him as his guest in his backyard.
8. Mudavadi must continuously tame Oparanya and Atwoli, the agents of Raila.
Last time, the events at Bukhungu stadium got the three (Raila, Atwoli and Oparanya) by surprise. They never imagined that Mudavadi had become such powerful in Kakamega, the capital city of Western. The same will repeat again if they try another comic rally at Bukhungu. Mudavadi will show up again with numbers. And we shall again ask Mudavadi to join the ceremony Midway and stamp his authority in the eyes of Oparanya, Atwoli and Raila the second time. To beat Atwoli’s gimmicks, we advise Mudavadi to totally avoid war of words with the elderly Atwoli. When you wrestle a pig in the mud, don’t expect to win. We shall win with strategy.
9. The Installation of Oparanya.
After what happened in Bukhungu during the BBI rally, Mudavadi surprised them. Raila realized that Mudavadi is gaining ground and he may not be influencial directly any longer. So Atwoli has decided to help Raila hatch a plan. The plan is to install Oparanya and use Oparanya to keep Raila’s influence in Western as he checkmates Mudavadi influence. But that won’t last because Oparanya has no voice outside Kakamega and on matters political. Kakamega is infact the stronghold of Mudavadi. Oparanya’s presidential ambitions are just but laughable. Being a CoG chair doesn’t give him any political mileage. Isaac Ruto was there, Nanok was there, Munya was there. The best Oparanya can do, is to scheme and be in the next government and get a ministerial post, so that he can continue the good development work at national level. Raila asidanganye yeye.
10. ANC must recapture Kakamega gubernatorial seat in the next election.
Kakamega being under odm governor’s leadership has really derailed the effort to unit luhyas as a people. Vihiga is too small to look at. Nobody is even bothered by Otichilo being in Odm. Oparanyas track record propelled him back. Not the party, and it’s true that if the Constitution would allow another term, we would still vote him, whether on anc, odm or independent. But that is done. Last election, anc was unable to get a gubernatorial candidate, we settled to support Oparanya despite being on a different party, thank God we were both in NASA.. This time round, the party must vet and present an ideal candidate. Marketable and with good qualities. I will soon do an analysis of candidates ANC can consider in 2022 elections. If you get hold of Kakamega under ANC/Ford Kenya , the stage will be good for the journey. We will have successfully kicked out Raila’s main lutenants in Western.
11. It’s very unwise to make deals with elderly at the moment.
Raila is elderly, anybody he is bringing on board or looking for partnership with, is one who will support him achieve his long time dream. Mudavadi should know this clearly and completely stay away. Just like Gumo, Raila will soon leave the stage, the best is to stay away so that he makes his fight to the finish line alone and exit the stage peaceful. If Mudavadi was to make any political partnership right now, it will be wiser to try the young and energetic people like William Ruto, Kalonzo Musyoka, Alfred Mutua, Peter Munya and so forth. Uhuru and Raila should be left to fumble and exit in peace.
12. Follow the numbers and encourage voter registration.
It’s true that Western is a big population, but we have continued to be controlled by small baby tribes. This is because the western people never see any of their son play a pivotal role in run up to presidential elections, most of the population stay away from registration or voting because of lack of morale. The western people will register in numbers and vote overwhelmingly the day they will see Bungoma, Kakamega, Trans Nzoia, Busia and Vihiga speaking in one voice to propel their son too to political leadership at the top. But as long us foreigners are coming to rule in the region and treating the sons of the soil as political squatters, then the mulembe people will continue to avoid registration and voting. Raila doesn’t inspire voting in Western in anyway. He is a misuse.
13. Stand with those who believe in you.
Mudavadi must stick with those legislatures who believe in him and release those seeking favours and appointment in houses through other parties. If someone is elected because of his leadership capacity in any house, that’s good. But those who are switching allegence just to get posts Should be released and punished if possible. That’s gluttony. Those are the kind of leaders that you can not bank on. Mind you, even the political parties that are rewarding them will not accept such flower girls who swing their support depending with who is giving them the chocolate. Release them. Let them go.
14. Mudavadi must start to put in place strategic teams.
More specifically campaign teams. Main Core team, social media team, propaganda team. Anti-propaganda team. Branding team. ANC/Mudavadi Press team. PR firm and strategy team, presidential advisory team among many other bodies that will see the re-invention of ANC into a national party with appealing outlook in the country. Let’s forget about odm, there is nothing they can offer apart from bullying and intimidation as long as we keep topping up their numbers.
15. The Famous Musalia Mudavadi Center.
Lately, this is one of the greatest projects ever done. It’s very good in the political PR and Branding. It’s also an appealing and a great message disseminator. The Mudavadi center photos alone says alot and tramendously markets well the Party and the PL. Keep the visitors coming in. Don’t be selective for now, let them all come. In future it will be easier to reach them out to talk as political friends when exploring for partnerships in future. We know how the men at capital Hill are having sleepless nights over the now famous Musalia Mudavsdi Center. Yes. We can do it. Let’s chat our way out. We shall walk with the few who are ready and pick new allies along the way. Those seeking political favours from odm and odinga, should go in peace.
Fast forward: Fast track the pact with Ford Kenya as soon as possible, so that Western can walk together as one. Then we can seek allies. That way, non of our brothers and sisters in parliament and committees will be intimidated at the mercy of foreign parties. Western must stop being held hostage by luo colony politically and chat its way forward to prosper and seek national leadership.
