Been saying this and I will say it again . Any son and daughters of the soil in positions of influence must open the flood gates for others , must build others and must take pride in being luhya .
We shall love, must embrace the perceived mad women and men in positions of influence because they are ours” we shall work with them and enrich their spaces and at the same time they must reciprocate by enriching ours .
It is okey to be rich, it is okey to grow but we cannot do it alone .
Life up there can be lonely the day you come down you hit the floor hard . Build the safe nets make many of them and cushion your fall . Spread your networks and cast your net far wide .
We need to remember our leaders cannot do it alone we must take a deliberate step to walk with them. Let us add value in the spaces we have. Sadly we insult our leaders too much and forget they need us to make things happen ; they need us to drive their agenda and prep them within the national grid.
We are a reflection of our leaders and throwing words from January to December is not a solution to the gaps we have in western . We are all leaders in our small rights the big question is what are we doing to make the difference ? What are we doing to make the small changes ?
I am still hopefully the sleeping giant “ western “ will wake up and flourish “ the power is in your hands and while at it , insulting the leaders will not help at all .
