Please let me bury my husband, Ruth Matete cries.

Tusker Project Fame winner Ruth Matete is yet to bury her husband almost 1Month after he passed on.
Trouble has been brewing after the Nigerian embassy demanded to have a second postmoterm even after the government pathologist conducted one to ascertain the cause of death.
It is now emerging that Ruth Matete is not in a position to pay the accrued mortuary fees even as hospital bill remain unsettled.
Ruth has now moved to court through her lawyer to compel the Nigerian High commision to pay the accrued mortuary fees.
” It is common knowledge that the body cannot be subjected to a second postmortem because the initial exercise has already compromised the body. The toxicological test results are also out, so holding the body does not make sense, it only adds to her frustrations as a widow who is still mourning,” said Mr Odanga.
The former (TPF)Tusker Project Fame winner has resorted to raising funds from wellwishers, family and friends to help sort out the hospital bill and mortuary fees.
So far the TPF winner has held two fundsdrives to help her pay her bills.
The widow has also set up an M-Changa account where close to Sh245,840 have been realised.
“This is an appeal for funds to help Ruth Matete pay her late husband’s medical bill, funeral expenses and for her new life with her unborn child,” reads a message on her M-changa platform.
Communication from the high commission has led to the delay of the burial.
“The High Commission wishes to state that, after the postmortem, the burial should be put on hold until it is in receipt of such directive from the Nigerian government while the mission awaits the conclusion of the investigations,” read a letter from the embassy’s head of Chancery, Mr Mahmoud Lawal, on behalf of the High Commissioner.
