Corona is a hoax David Ndii says as over 7000 Kariobangi residents sleep in the cold!
The Kariobangi demolitions have set Nairobians talking over the government’s efforts in fighting corona. Economist David Ndii was the first to fire the salvo by saying..
“Hakuna corona, kama kuna corona hawangefanya hivi” (Corona is a hoax, if its real, they would’nt have done this). Logical deduction ” Ndii said.
Why is the government defeating its own efforts of combating covid 19? Activist Bonface Mwangi has also condemned the Kariobangi demolitions.
Narok senator Ledama Ole Kina too did not have kind words for the government over evictions.
“A Government that turns its guns on poor people in Kariobangi is cursed! Let’s all pray for it! Evicting citizens during #COVID19 times is Evil! Your time will come soon when you to will cry!” said he
Kariobangi families are homeless after their houses were demolished. “The demolitions have blatantly ignored the High Court order, the current efforts to fight Covid19 Pandemic thereby endangering thousands of lives including children.” Said Mwangi.
Is the government really serious in fighting covid 19? If yes, will it quarantine the 7000 Kariobangi residents for flauting social distance rules?
