Dr William Ruto beats Hon. Raila in the Senate as his choice is beaten hands down.
The ODM Party in the senate had lobhied to vote Professor Sam Ongeri as the chair of PAC and be deputized by Irungu Kang’ata, the senator for Murang’a County. Mr Kangata did his part and voted for Sam Ongeri, but Narok Senator Ledama Olekina lobbied to have Senators allied to William Ruto to support his bid and from the deep oceans he was proposed by senators Omanga and seconded by Wamatangi who are strong Ruto allies.
The ODM wing was found flat foot and Ole Kina beat Ongeri 5 to 4. These news has not been accepted by the ODM leader and through Senator Orengo the results have been rejected. But Senator Ledama has accepted the win and has called on ODM party to accept his victory. Senator Orengo has wrote to the speaker to protest and reject results.
