The triumphant entry of Mudavadi in Bukhungu, signified the end of Oparanya

Why Oparanya will be used and dropped like a used syringe!

Wycliffe Oparanya’s political career is coming to an end. He has no more tea left in him as the wheels of politics hopes to resume running come the end of the pandemic. This is a definite reality because he will not run for governor post again, he has reached the end of his rope and the alternative is to run for presidency.

But can Oparanya run for presidency in the presence of Hon. Musalia Mudavadi? Who can come within his skin to dress him so that he looks national than Hon. Musalia Mudavadi?

Which outfits can make him outshine the Luhya supremo? Going by the 2017 results, how many ODM seats did he deliver in the what used to be assumed to be an ODM strong hold? Oparanya lost like a bad marathoner who had not trained in the race that featured international champions.

He couldn’t even get a podium finish thus relegating ODM to a sore throat victim. Currently the Kakamega governor is holding tight in the armpits of the former prime minister, the stench of sweat not withstanding. He was made the COG for the second term, under unclear circumstances, results of elections were not announced. Indeed it was a negotiated victory.

The extention has a purpose to keep him in the limelight against the political owl who it’s understood that he is better placed to gain top leadership in this country against the wishes of the usual bat. These games are known by every political student and graduate. They don’t work. They have not worked. They will never work.

The country’s economy is in a wuthering state. Like a sunflower, it needs a clear sun, a son who has clear honest, because they say honest is the best policy, for it to grow again, roll like the wheels of steam engine with products to the market, the economy needs the sun.

Wycliffe Oparanya is not that sun. Look at how he has acted so far during the pandemic. Does he understand what needs to be done, has he acted appropriately, has he given alternatives, as the COG has he organised his 46 troops to display their skills in fighting the covid-19?
Apart from Joho, who else has acted extremely exceptional? Apart from cinema and dramatic episodes from sonko, who else has placed his body, brain and mind to work? Remember Wycliffe Oparanya was seen issuing a press statement in Kisumu while wrongly wearing a mask. What example was he giving to the public? A general who is organised or disorganised?

In western Kenya politics, Wycliffe Oparanya is struggling to fit in, fix things and look like a man on top of the political crust. Remember without the ever green Cotu peacock, Oparanya on his own cannot organise a group of cattle dip chairmen for anything. He cannot. He lacks, charismatic skills and oratory talents that a local church pastor needs to rule over his congregation.

What objectivity does he bring to the presidency? Apart from being a pawn, in the deep matrix, what else will he be for? Sources close to him alleges that, he will print posters for the presidency under a different party but in the long run, he will step down in favor of the former premier whose last bullet was wasted with withdrawing from a repeat election in 2017.
The script Oparanya is acting in is written by the outlandish peacock that believes this is the chance for former premier and anyone who stands in the way has to be crushed.

Lately, you saw the January 18th debacle in Bukhungu stadium. The meeting that almost caused war to the planners, who were forced to change horses fodder midstream, was as a result of pressure from the people of western Kenya who told the planners of the clandestine meeting that your scheme of replacing Hon. Musalia as the Luhya supremo in favor of Oparanya is as dead as the doornail. The rejection of Oparanya and triumphant entry of Musalia in Bukhungu, signified the end of Oparanya. Let him retire peaceful and with honour than, purport to run for presidency wearing a mask for the former premier.
