Easter is a time where Christians share in the love of Christ.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son to come and die for our sins. There is no greater love than the Agape love.
These are words of one Hon David Ayoi. Speaking to www.goodmorningkenya.com, Hon Ayoi was upbeat and happy as he shared with families drawn from both Kabiro and Gatina Ward areas of Dagoretti North.
“At times like these, we all put our political differences aside and focus on the cross and the love of Christ.Easter is a time to reflect on Agape love and do everything to help humanity and make the world a better place to live in. For me Easter is a time to reflect and take a journey to Golgotha and feel Christ’s love.Today as I share this little food with my people, it is my prayer that Christ resurrects in our hearts.Happy Easter all.” said he.
Christians around the globe celebrate Easter in rememberence of the life and suffering of Christ on his way to redeeming the world from the enemy/Satan.
Due to the sins of one man Adam, sins came to the world and all were condemned to eternal fire but Christ died for all so that the blessings of Abraham could be given to us all. This is according to the Holy book.
“Nothing gives me joy like sharing with my brothers and sisters, it creates a bond of belonging as a community. Nobody should engage in charity for political expediency but for the primary goal of serving God and our saviour Jesus Christ”added Ayoi.
Over 200 families today received 2 packets of maize Unga and cash just to help them enjoy their Easter season.
“We are so happy that despite the upheavals of 2022 Gen elections, Hon Ayoi has always been there for us, today as we receive this easter token of love from him, we pray that God will richly remember him and his family, this indeed is the true meaning of Easter and God’s love” Mama Grace said.
On his part, Ayoi was all smiles as he wished the gathering a happy easter.
“My brothers and sisters, It blesses my heart anytime you visit and we share. I give not because I have but simply because I know what it means to have nothing. Besides it is God’s eternal wish that we meet regularly, break bread and share in His love. Once again Happy Easter My people” concluded Ayoi
