It is all system go as Ngatia leads his team in rallying Nairobians to a major Azimio rally in the city.
Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Richard Ngatia will lead his Nairobi Azimio Dream Team in mobilizing Nairobians to attend the Azimio Mega rally at Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi East on March 12th, 2022.
The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) boss will lead his Nairobi Azimio Dream Team troops which includes former Sports minister Maina Kamanda, senator Beatrice Kwamboka among other Nairobi azimio la umoja affiliated leaders in rallying Nairobians to attend the rally.
Ngatia’s Nairobi team will be supplementing their energies to support the area’s leaders who include Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino, the Orange Democratic (ODM) Youth commander and Upper Savannah ward MCA Stazo Omung’ala and Lower Savannah MCA Nicholas Okumu.
Ngatia said the rally was open to all under the Azimio la Umoja movement. “We pride in the diversity of our city. We have supporters of the various political parties in Nairobi and all are welcome to show solidarity with our presidential candidate Raila Odinga.”
“There will be a major Azimio rally at Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi East on Saturday. All are welcome,” the area MP Babu Owino.
“You are all welcome to add your voice to the 10 million strong at Jacaranda Grounds in Embakasi East,” said Stazo as he extended the invite to all Azimio supporters in Nairobi.
Nominated Senator Beatrice Kwamboka said: “We urge residents to turn up in large numbers from the larger Embakasi, Langata, Kibra, Kasarani, Westlands, Dagoretti, Roysambu, Mathare, Starehe, Kamkunji and Makadara to solidify support for Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.” “Expect a surprise guest” She added
Former Sports minister Maina Kamanda who is now a nominated MP in the National Assembly said this will be a big day for Nairobians and should not be spoilt by cases of violence calling on the Azimio supporters in attendance to exercise peaceful campaigns at the venue.
Other Azimio leaders task with mobilization on the day include Nairobi ODM Chairman and Makadara Mp George Aladwa, Governor Ann Kananu, Elizabeth Ongoro, Agness Gakure, Hon Mercy Gakuya, Abdi Guyo and several Members of Parliament and county assembly members from Nairobi.
