Dr Anthony Lung’aho: Road network key to opening up Shinyalu towards growth

Covid 19 pandemic may have slowed up things in the country but to Dr Anthony Lusuli Lunv’aho what needs to be done should just go on.

Besides sensitizing locals on precautionary measures to help combat covid 19 by giving masks and sanitizers, Dr Lung’aho has embarked on a programme a kin to kazi mtaani initiative.

“We have been trying to reach out to the vulnerable of the society by giving some food rations buat we 623discovered that aueven the able bodied youth in the society have been grounded by the pandemic. Most of them depend on their in the city to help them by sending cash but the hard economic times in the city have made matters worse. We then designed a programme to ensure youths and women productively engage in clearing and rehabilitating roads and at the end we support them with some cash for daily meals” Mr Lung’aho said.

The rehabilitation of Mukulusu road continued to take shape as area residents dedicated themselves once again under an initiative sponsored by Dr Lung’aho.

The road serves more than five hundred people has been impassable for long, preventing free movement of people, animals, transportation of goods, services and furthermore making it hard for emergency services.

The Exercise is purely sponsored by Dr. Anthony Lung’aho, the Shinyalu aspiring member of parliament and supervised by Youth leader Ocpd.

Speaking to the people and media houses from Western Kenya thru a phone call, Dr. Lung’aho lauded the efforts being put by the people, promising to stand with them in any empowerment projects.

Dr Lung’aho has advised area residents to form road Maintenance committees that will help ensure real time repair of the roads, with funding from him.

The area residents lauded the efforts of Dr Lung’aho in uplifting their standards of living by ensuring that they have good road networks.

The use of locals in the road works boasts the current kazi Mashinani spearheaded by the president, giving an opportunity to the locals to Get something small for food.

This marks the Fifth road rehabilitated by the Deputy Director at the Nuclear energy Dr. Anthony Lung’aho.
