Raila’s political conmanship and deceit exposed as Mudavadi, Kalonzo, and Wetangula declare a divorce.

A bitter row has erupted between ODM leader Raila Odinga and his Nasa principals, further denting t their chances of fielding a joint candidate to square it out with the huslter Deputy President William Ruto in 2022.

The ANC party leader Hon Mudavadi known for his soft and gentle approach to politics has changed his brand and come out fighting. Mudavadi without mincing his words has called Raila a political conman who thrives on not honoring his word.

In a detailed statement by Mudavadi’s spokesman, it has now emerged that Raila negotiated his way out of the repeat presidential poll and the mock swearing-in at Uhuru Park was pre-arranged as well.

In Raila’s own words, he faked a swearing-in to accelerate his yearning for a handshake with Uhuru, which he got. And now he is ensconced in the realm of power at the top of the pyramid, he dares scold those who made it possible for him to gain traction at that top. If he were capable of honesty, he would tell Kenyans what drove him to have multiple mock swearing-ins. Can not play the famed coward and share those pre-recorded fake swearing-ins?Back to the endorsement, Raila is free not to endorse whosoever he wishes including the possibility of excluding himself. But he has no right to deny others their right to demand a political debt owed from him. Raila knows he duped colleagues into backing him in NASA in 2017 under the false pretense that, win or lose, he wouldn’t offer himself as a candidate. Perhaps the only cowardice in them is allowing Raila to lie to them.

On his part, Odm sg Edwin Sifuna has blassted the trio calling them cowards who should not drag Raila in their cowardice and misery.

In 2002, Sifuna said, Musalia fled the Rainbow movement and returned to be a three-month VP when the whole country was recalibrating its politics and seeking a fresh start.

“Hon Kalonzo Musyoka on the other hand was the quintessential one-party rule man and a late entrant to the 2002 liberation movement. He only opted to join Rt Hon Odinga in 2013 after his cunning attempt to exploit the ICC tribulations of President Uhuru and DP Ruto fell flat. He was seeking a landing spot and got a soft one,” Sifuna claimed.

On Wetangula, who incidentally comes from Bungoma county just like Sifuna, the Odm SG said.

” The less I speak of Wetangula the better’….

But responding to the cowardice tag, Mudavadi’s spokesman Proff Kibisu Kabatesi said the trio were not cowardice but national leaders who were ready and willing to keep their word of honor unlike Raila.

” If their is any element of cowardice in the three gentlemen it is their willingness to let Raila lie to them” said Kabatesi.

But there is more cowardice to pull out of a repeat elections, disguised as protest of pre-rigged outcome, when in actual fact it’s only because the act is part of a pre-arranged settlement for yourself. Kenyans should ask themselves what a man incapable of keeping a vow with friends is capable of if he wields absolute power. He hates being reminded that he’s a political con, but reminded he’ll be until he forgoes deceit. Politics of deceit don’t befit a Kenyan leader.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has threatened to spill more beans by claiming that Raila’s deceit and conmanship stink to the highest heavens.

”I am not dying for Raila’s endorsement, the only endorsement I want is from God. Raila should be a gentleman and honor his word. On the illegal swearing-in ceremony at Uhuru park, there was no way Kalonzo a lawyer would partake in such an illegal affair when as a lawyer I swore to uphold the constitution” said Musyoka.

Raila has thrown spanner in the works by claiming that his three co-principals abandoned him and therefore they should not think of his endorsement.

“When I was being sworn-in, they were nowhere to be seen. Why should I pass the baton to them yet they ran away from me at my time of need?” wondered Raila.

As 2022 approached we expect things to get even hotter but it is evident that Raila will have to work 10 times harder even as we see both Wetangula, Kalonzo and Mudavadi walk away.
