Some people wanted me hanged after Uhuru park swearing in but Uhuru said No! Says Raila.

ODM leader Raila Odinga will make a public declaration on whether he will be joining the 2022 presidential race on December 9.
Raila has yet to openly declare himself a candidate for the country’s top post, despite touring the country and lobbying for his Azimio la Umoja campaign vehicle.
Raila, who was speaking to his followers in Majengo after attending a Legio Maria church service, had asked his supporters if they would back his quest during the Sunday morning stop-over.
The ODM leader promised to make his ambitions known next month after the crowd erupted in applause.
And while promising to pursue National Unity, the ODM leader also revisited his controversial 2018 swearing in.
The ODM leader said that after his swearing in, there were calls to have him arrested and charged with treason.
“Uhuru akaambiwa, Raila amezidi, ile kitendo amefanya ni treason, tumshike, tumpeleke mahahakamani tumshataki, tumpeleke Kamiti tukamnyonge,” Raila told the congregation.
“Uhuru akasema, ah, ah, hapana, si tukakutana na tukaketi chini, na tukaongea sana na kwa kirefu,”

The former Prime Minister said that after holding talks with the president, they both agreed that Kenya was bigger than either of them, hence the truce and the close working relationship since.
During the same stopover, he justified his 6k-per-month stipend to Kenya’s poor, claiming that it will not be difficult to implement because he will close the loopholes through which the country loses money to graft
