I voted for Musalia Mudavadi in 2013″ Kioni now says.
Ndaragwa Mp Hon Jeremiah Kioni for the first time has cleared the air on how he voted in 2013.
“In 2013 Mudavadi picked me and made me his running mate.I had no name across the nation but thanks to him Kenya now know who Jeremiah Kioni is. However some remarkable people ran a narrative discrediting me and lied that I Jeremiah Kioni never voted for my brother Mudavadi. It was a shame and my character was dragged in the mud. I received a call from Mudavadi and upon explaining it he encouraged me to be strong and soldier on. So far the courts have vindicated me by awarding me damages to that effect. For records purposes, In 2013 I did not vote for my friend Uhuru but voted for my brother Musalia Mudavadi” Kioni said.
Hon Kioni was addressing mourners at Mululu village during the burial of Mudavadi’s mother at her Mululu home.

Speaking immidiately after Kioni had made his remarks, Hon Mudavadi took to the podium and added his voice too.
“It is a shame that this lie was escalated by people who dont give a damn on matters of national value. Shame on you all for believing the lie.Mheshimiwa Kioni stood with me and voted for me. Hon Kioni sacrificed to an extent of losing his own seat. We have all seen how bold Hon Kioni has stood here and spoken his heart out. Shame on you who pedsled the lies and shame on those who believed the lies too” Mudavadi
