Political intrigues over fake 439 USD fake dollars at play pitying Gachagua and Mudavadi

.

The  revelation by the DCI that 439USD has been recovered in what could have been arguably the biggest cash heist in Kenya has taken a political angle begging several questions.

439 USD is such a collosal amount of money to ever imagine that a few guys can stage such a heist.

Another question that Kenyans have been asking is, did the DCI deliberately give out that mind boggling figure to conceal some truths?

The political undertones in the whole saga cannot as well go unnoticed. A section of the media and especially social media has put up a spirited effort to try and link the Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon Mudavadi into the mix. This narrative has been supported by the deliberate attempts to convert one of the suspects as the poster boy of the whole saga. All these efforts to try and link both Hon Mudavadi and Hon Wetangula into this albeit remotely is informed by the changing fortunes in UDA.

Ever since the  Kakamega senator Dr Bonny Khalwale let the 🐈 cat out of the bag by declaring that the Luhya nation will have a candidate in 2032, has caused disquiet in UDA which has started wars between DP Gachagua and Mudavadi.

One of the suspects in the said heist one Mr Peter Kisanya is a staunch supporter of Hon Mudavadi and has on several occasions made his thoughts known on who he would wish to see at the helm post Ruto era.  This further begs the question, was he set up to eventually link the two leading Luhyas leaders into the dirt?

Mr Kisanya by virtue of his unapologetic stance on matters ANC party and generally how activities and political businesses around Mudavadi are handled has caused him to have enemies within the party ranks. This has enlarged the vulnerability circle around him.

72 hours down the line, the suspects have not been presented before any court of law for plea taking. This again begs the question, if indeed these guys are suspects, why not produce them to court?

Politicians will always go  an extra mile in trying to paint a perceived competitor black. The current saga has shown just a tip of the iceberg. We have seen the spirited approach by anti Mudavadi forces in trying tirelessly to link him to the saga at hand.

Never mind the dirt and the intrigues in UDA in sofaras 2032 is concerned, going by what Sen Khalwale alluded to, things in UDA could be falling apart and no matter the spirited smear campaigns against proponents of the Luhya candidates, there seem to be no stopping.
