Kalonzo,Mudavadi and Moi lose in Makueni as Kibwana wins. Is this the end of OKA?

The one Kenya alliance has faced a litmus test in its first joint engagement and lost in Makueni.

The One Kemya alliance which has been selling itself as the alternative voice to both William Ruto’s UDA and Raila’s ODM lost terribly depite a well resourced campaign led by OKA principles.

MAKUENI County

One Kenya Alliance principals in drumming up support for the Wiper Party candidate, Eshio Mwaiwa, for the October 14 Nguu/Masumba ward by-election in Makueni County.

It was hugely expected that Kalonzo’s wiper would carry the day but its poor showing at what is believed as his backyard is now something to worry OKA.

Makueni county governor Hon Kivutha Kibwana chose to mock the one Kenya alliance team on social media by putting up the post below.

GOV Kibwana scoffs at Kalonzo

The Nguu Musumba ward winner Mr Maneno was being fronted by Governor Kibwana.

The governor took to his social media page and congratulated the winner.

I congratulate the People of Nguu/Masumba Ward for their determination to uphold democracy. They have spoken loud and clear in electing Timothy Maneno. I thank all the gallant leader-volunteers who supported The Independent candidate. We have opened a new chapter in our politics.

On his part, Kalonzo took to his social media and congratulated the winner in a bid to down play the devastating effect of the defeat.
