Boost for Bishop Wanjiru as Kamba’s pledge support for her 2022 gubernatorial bid.

Barely 10 Months before the next general election, candidates are increasingly appealing to city dwellers for support and endorsements.

Bishop Dr Margaret Wanjiru who has thrown her hut in the ring to become Nairobi’s first elected governor has intensified her ground presence.

Wanjiru who has been meeting several interest groups as she consolidates her base in the city received a major boost as Kamba’s pledged to rally behind her.

In an event held at UDA’s party chairman and former Machakos county senator, Kamba leaders unanimously endorsed her candidature and went ahead to propose Hon Patrick Musili as her running mate.

The Kamba community is urguably one of the populous community in Nairobi and whoever they choose to support will definately have the much needed numerical advantage.

Several speakers at the event held at Sen Muthama’s home praised Bishop Wanjiru for her steadfast and viaionary leadership which Nairobi so dearly need.

The news of a Wanjiru/Musili ticket have lit the social media with several netizens terming the tag team as a lethal te that will fix Nairobi.

“Bishop Wanjiru is not new to city politics, as a former elected Mp and an assistant minister, we have enough confidence that she will not only deliver victory to UDA but also together with Hon Musili, the will fix Nairobi” Muthama said.
