”Give me back my academic certificates and stop using my photos on your FB pages” Daddy Owen’s former wife now demands.”

Owen Mwatia popularly known as Daddy Owen The Papa Fololo is apparently engaged in a legal battle with his estranged wife, Farida Wambui with whom they have kids but apparently live worlds apart.

According to a letter doing rounds on social forums dated January 8, Wambui through her lawyers demanded that the system ya Kapungala coroner pulls down her photos and those of their children from his social media pages.

“Immediately expunge the names of our client, images and those of the minors whatsoever in all your social media platforms as well as your agents and proxies,” reads part of the letter.

Wambui further through her lawyers has demanded the immediate release of her academic certificates which she claims are with Daddy Owen.

“Immediately you return all the original academic documents belonging to our clients.”

Daddy Owen denies the allegations..

Responding to Wambui through his lawyers Osor Onyiego & Manyara Advocates, Daddy Owen in a letter dated January 11, denied making defamatory remarks against his estranged wife of at least 3 years.

According to Daddy Owen, the allegations he is being accused of are baseless and do not deserve his time.

“That our client denies in total all the allegations and innuendos as contained in the aforementioned letter that he made any false instigations and damaging or defamatory utterances against your client through any social media platforms or media houses or at all,”

“That our client is stranger to the said allegations or any purported defamatory words which, in any event, are not contained in your letter. Our client, therefore, has not committed any form of breach of privacy to your client. This only amounts to baseless and unsubstantiated allegations against our client.”

Things started taking a downward trend in Owen’s love life in December 2020 when he deleted Wambui’s photos from his social media pages.

Grapevine has it that Wambui got engaged to a Gilgil tycoon around the same time but lied to her ex-husband that she was on a work trip.

Daddy Owen has revealed to several media outlets that he has been struggling with depression with nobody to trust with his story.
