A police officer Beats up a guard for insisting on proper wearing of a mask before accessing a supermarket

Police officers and politicians are the weakest links in fight against corona virus.

A cctv video footage from Magunas Supermarket Chuka town shows a plain clothed police officer attacking a supermarket security guard for insisting that the officer can’t access the supermarket without a facemask.

According to Magunas Supermarket the guard requested the officer to put her mask well which was hanging on the neck before entering the supermarket being the procedures issued by the government of Kenya through the ministry of health that everyone Must wear Mask in Public.

The officer instead started harassing the guard and later on her husband joined in pumping a few fists on the guard whose only crime was playing a role in combating covid 19.The incident happened yesterday.

Tbe guard was instead arrested and has been released today in the evening without any charges instituted .

Kenyans have registered their rage over the incident insisting that the offending cop must face the music.

“It’s time we start addressing several issues regarding security officers manning our institutions.For example,how have they been trained to handle situations like this?Are the security companies mandated with providing these services even concerned with courtesy and self defense training for their employees?Have these security companies insured their employees?Had that security guard been insured,maybe there would be compensation.Some of these security companies have underpaid and enslaved their untrained employees to the level that they go to work frustrated.Again,this footage doesn’t provide audio,which would equally be important.Don’t believe everything u see” Dennis Kabunge observed
