Ford Kenya troubles now move to Registra of political parties as contentious SGs move to file resolutions separately.
Statement on Filing Changes in the FORD-Kenya National Executive Council (NEC) with the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties.
Today,Tuesday 2nd June 2020, T he FORD-Kenya National Executive Council has filed documents to formalize the Sunday Resolutions of the National Executive Council suspending truant members.
The resolutions ratified by two Thirds of the National Executive Council suspended former Secretary General Eseli Simiyu ,Former Secreatry for Livestock and fisheres Hon. Wafula Wamunyinyi and Former Women League Leader MCA Cynthia Mutere.
The resolutions also installed in an acting capacity Hon. Dr Chris Wamalawa as Secretary General,Hon. kemosi Vincent as Secretary for Livestock and Fisheries and Hon. Andambi as Women League Chairperson.
In due course the party shall give the errant members an opportunity for hearing to explain their actions.
The party NEC reiterated its commitment to constitutionalism and the rule of law including peaceful and orderly transfer of leadership in parties through proper Elections.
The changes were ratified as in order and accepted by the Registrar of Political Parties.
