Political realignment in Makadara Constiuency a head of 2022 elections spells doom for incumbent.

In Makadara constituency, 2022 election bells have rung and rung loudly. Former allies of Makadara Mp Hon George Aladwa have been holding strategy meetings which all point to the likelihood of either fronting one of their own to battle it out with Aladwa or supporting an alternative force to face the ODM boss on the ballot.

“Hallo makadara…If you don’t have a seat at the table, you’re probably on the menu. God above everything.” Kuka Imbenzi said.

The youthful politicians who share a history of having at one time rubbed off Aladwa the wrong way politically speaking are coalescing around Brian Mulama who ran on Anc for Harambee ward, Boxing heavy weight Kuka Imbenzi who cried foul amid rigging during Harambee ward ODM primaries and Faustine Imbali popularly known as FoC who incidentally went down with Aladwa’s name all over his lips in his bid for Viwandani ward in 2013.

Strategizing for Makadara

The newfound camaraderie put much pressure on the incumbent Mp considering that Makongeni Ward Mca Hon Imwatoka aka Jateso has also thrown his hat in the ring. Reuben Ndolo factor too is expected to play a major role as realignment for Makadara’s 2022 shape up.

Both Brian Mulama the Anc Nairobi county youth league boss, Frankline Imbenzi, and Maurice Imbale who ran as an independent candidate for Makongeni ward are vouching for a Mudavadi presidency and a Makadara Mp on ANC ticket come 2022 with Faustine Imbali too closely associating himself with Mudavadi.

Faustine Imbali said that politics is about interest, I personally vouched for Hon. George Aladwa for 2017 seat, I personally backed him financially, and campaigned for him with my funds, but when he took over, he reneged and does not represent my interest.

Assuming that Hon Aladwa does not go for governorship his re-election in Makadara will face a rough drive from friends turned political foes. It is interesting times for Makadara voters as the ground troops are positioning themslves ahead of the general election.
