Nairobi Azimio la Umoja One Kenya gubernatorial candidate Polycarp Igathe today paid a courtesy call to Idah Odinga, the spouse of Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga at her Lavington offices where two had a cordial discussion.
Igathe visited Mama Idah just two months since Raila announced his candidature on an Azimio ticket for the Nairobi governor seat in the upcoming general elections that are scheduled for August 9th.
According to insiders, the two discussed various issued affecting the people of Nairobi especially on the issue of women inclusion.
Igathe pledged to prioritize the women agenda in his administration noting that he will first solve the issue of water problems that mostly affect the women among other issues.
Igathe said that his administration was going to work for the betterment of health facilities and praised Raila Odinga’s BabaCare program which the ODM Leader has said he will rollout once elected President.
Idah said that Igathe was the best candidate to take Nairobi on the journey of transformation and asked Narobians to vote for the former Equity bank boss as the next county governor and ensure the county is steered back to prosperity.
