UNDERRATE RUTO AT YOUR OWN PERIL

Dr. William Samoei Ruto is loathed and loved in extreme measures in the Kenyan political scene. He enjoys a fanatical following that is only rivalled by that of Raila Odinga.
That explains the sleepless nights that his political detractors are spending in a futile exercise to cut him to size. They have not spared any ammo at their disposal including recruiting toothless and retired Generals like Atwoli and others whose sphincter muscles have equally gone on leave.
Make no mistake: William Samoei Ruto knew of the impending betrayal from day one. That explains his rebranding of his hustler image. He persistently sold the narrative of an ordinary man trying to join the table of Kings. In so doing, he has equally motivated many people that it is possible to rise from humble beginnings to be a decent person.
Attempts by the deep state to fight him will fail for one reason; they are fighting a man when they should be fighting an idea.
In his masterpiece, KINJEKETILE, the famed Swahili playright Ibrahim Hussein alludes to the fact that an idea born of an individual may grow bigger to supersede the very individual. Dr. William Ruto’s idea of a hustler has outgrown him and the masses have bought it.
There is only one way that the hustler nation can be defeated in 2022: deploy the army. Period.
I guarantee all and sundry that the hustler nation will rise to the occasion in defence of a fellow hustler. You can take it to the bank; it will be messy and noisy.
My fingers are twitching for this political fight. My blood is hot. My brain cells are burning. I can feel the tremor of excitement in my veins.
To my frenemy Edward Igesa, I solemnly swear that it will be my turn to go to Timbuktu if the neophyte Gideon is forced on me as my President. God forbid! Amadioha of the thunderbolt forbid too.
