Fkf president Nick Mwendwa announces on twitter a 1.2Billion 5year sponsorship deal for KPL with an undisclosed betting firm.
According to Mwendwa, each club to receive 8-15M per year.
Mwendwa has gone further and stated that the league will be renamed FKF Premier league spelling doom for Jack Oguda led Kpl .
Many soccer commentators have dismkssed this move as a campaign gimmick tailored to perpertuate him in power by endearing him to would be voters.
