Nairobi Women Representative aspirant Senator Beatrice Kwamboka today rallied Nairobi residents to vote for Azimio La Umoja in the popular six-piece uniform as the Azimio La Umoja took the Raila Odinga presidential campaigns to Dagoretti North and Langata constituencies.
Kwamboka called on the residents in the vote rich constituencies to turn up in their numbers and elect Azimio candidates from the Member of the County assembly to the presidential ballot to ensure that the former Prime Minister has the requisite numbers to run government and implement the desired change that he has promised Kenyans.
Speaking in Kawangware, Kwamboka said that she had entered the race for Nairobi Women Representative to win and ensure Raila marshalls numbers in the National assembly.
“I want to ask you to vote for Azimio six piece and ensure Raila has numbers. It is the best thing that you can do to ensure that your future is secure in the hands of Baba, ” Kwamboka said.
The rallies were part of planned meetings around Nairobi to popularise the Raila Odinga presidential bid even as the OdM leader continues with his tour of the United Kingdom where he today delivered a speech at Chatham house.
The Azimio Nairobi Program for the week began today with the rallies in Lang’ata AT Nairobi West Shopping Center, Raila Village and Kawangware before culminating with a rally at Kibra’s Kamukunji Grounds.
Tomorrow Thursday will see the entourage move to Dagoretti south .and Westlands before going to Starehe and Kamukunji on Friday. Saturday, the Azimio brigade will be in Embakasi west, Embakasi south and Makadara while Sunday will culminate at Ruaraka and Embakasi north
“Majority of Kenyans have already decided who they will vote for especially at the Presidential level and all indications shows that Kenyan have decided to vote for Raila,” Kwamboka said.
Senator Kwamboka, a former Mountain View Member of County Assembly (MCA) has risen through the political ranks to be a Senator and is currently vying for the Nairobi Women Rep position
“Women are safe with ‘BABA’ because of the BABA care program concerning health matters, the Ksh 6,000 grants for the less fortunate under social protection program and free education from lower class to University. Nairobi is locked with BABA and Nairobi is all Azimio,” Kwamboka affirmed.
