Raila raids Mudavadi’s backyard as ANC’s nominated MP Osotsi declares support for Baba.
Raila Odinga early today toured Luanda sub county in Vihiga county where he urged eligible voters to turn out in large numbers and register as voters.
Accompanied by Vihiga governor Hon Wilbur Otichilo, area Mp Chris Omulele and ANC’s nominated Mp Godfrey Osotsi, Raila implored upon locals to turn out in large numbers to register as voters.
“Iam here to urge you all to go out and register as voters, our destiny is in our own hands and we must decide it by voting wisely. I have also been informed that this area has security challenges, I want to challenge the security personel ie our police officers to take this matter seriously and instead of chasing those selling chang’aa, they should focus on providing security” Raila said.
On matters development Raila reminded locals that his handshake with president Uhuru Kenyatta had brought peace and tranquility in the country and many development projects have been realized.
“There are those going around the country demonizing handshake but all they have done is to cause economic havoc. I have also appealed to the government to lower the price of fuel which you will soon see. The plight of our boda boda guys too will be looked into. There is no need of harassing bodaboda riders as they eke a living” added Raila.
Osotsi declares support for Raila‘
Nominated Mp Godfrey Osotsi while accompanying Raila took the opportunity to declare his total support for Raila’s 2022 bid.
‘You have been asking me to declare my political stand. Walio na macho hawaambii Tazama. Aliye na masikio haambiwi sikiza. You can all see clearly that Iam with Baba and my 2022 senatorial bid shall be through Baba’s party. We must form the next government and I want to urge you all not to gamble with your votes. Vote Raila Amollo Odinga” said Osotsi.
Raila visit comes barely 24hours after Mudavadi led his OKA alliance colleagues in meeting the mount Kenya Foundation.
Mudavadi has also declared his presidential bid on ANC ticket. Vihiga county has about 250, 000 votes for grabs and Raila is keen on wrestling a sizeable volume on his part.
