Former Kibwezi MP Prof Kaloki could deputize Ngatia as Nairobi’s governor in new Azimio line up.

A new formation is in the making for the next leadership in Nairobi. Incoming Nairobi Governor Richard Ngatia, who is a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta, has emerged the top candidate to win the Jubilee Party and Azimio La Umoja gubernatorial ticket.
Ahead of the upcoming party primaries, a new line up has emerged with Ngatia as the gubernatorial candidate.
According to sources privy to the on goings, former Kibwezi Member of Parliament Prof. Philip Kaloki has been suggested to take up the position of Ngatia’s running mate, shelving his bid for the Makueni governor race.
“Prof. Philip Kaloki is ready to shift base to Nairobi and he is being highly considered for the position of Ngatia’s deputy,” Our source intimated.

Ngatia today, Sunday 3rd April held a lengthy strategy meeting with Prof. Kaloki and nominated senator who is also an aspiring Nairobi Women Representative Beatrice Kwamboka.
The meeting was held at the Nairobi Panari Hotel before the leaders headed to AIC Pipeline church where they joined President Uhuru Kenyatta for the morning church service.
The meeting pointed at a possible working line up being crafted and could have the blessings of the president. Ngatia, a business mogul and president of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has promised to implement better ideologies and visions for the people of Nairobi and make Nairobi a business hub.
Prof. Kaloki on his part is an expert in Governance, Leadership and Strategic Management.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and Wiper leader former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka joined several other leaders to worship at the church. The leaders included Ngatia, Kwamboka, Prof. Kaloki, Machakos governor aspirant Wavinya Ndeti and Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu.
