In what was condemned nationally, it took Simba Arati just a few minutes to publicly apologize and call his fellow Mp Hon Osoro to the podium as the crowd cheered.  The two were attending the burial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arati welcomed Osoro to the podium where he took responsibility for an exchange that occurred on February 1 during the burial of Kisii deputy governor Joash Maangi\u2019s father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arati said the South Mugirango MP was his younger brother in terms of age and in Parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"cy\" dir=\"ltr\">Simba Arati reconciles with Sylvanus Osoro <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9MGe5eFmkK\">pic.twitter.com\/9MGe5eFmkK<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Nation Africa (@NationAfrica) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NationAfrica\/status\/1365282922253611010?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 26, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cApart from the small disagreements witnessed during the last burial, you have seen today that Osoro is my younger brother in terms of age as well as in the National Assembly,\u201d Arati said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, Arati had accused Deputy President William Ruto of hanging out with people of questionable character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have several leaders here in the company of our Deputy President who have a tainted life. These are fraudsters who should not be allowed to take up any leadership position,\u201d said Arati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This prompted Osoro, a follower of the Tanga tanga movement, to force his way onto the podium grabbing the microphone from Arati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scuffle continued for close to twenty minutes.
