Recently, the country&#8217;s election body has come under immense criticism and baptism of fire by a section of politicains led by the former prime minister who has not shown any love to it. He has actually attacked it in the open saying that the body is a conduit of corruption. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In some interview the former prime minster wondered aloud as he said, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8216; They are in office and earning a salary every month, but elections are every five years, so what is it they do in office every day?\u201d he asks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cWhy do they need money to verify a signature? They need to use what they have.\u201d<\/p><p>IEBC is on the receiving end with few Kennyans having trust in it.
