Will Lucheri\u2019s candidature excite the Luhyas in Nairobi?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nThe Luhya tribe commands the second largest number of registered voters in the city after the Kikuyu community. Many pundits opine that any right combination between Kikuyus and Luhyas in the forthcoming by election is likely to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elections are determined by numbers and this time around, the Mulembe nation is ready to be on the table when matter to do with city politics is concerned. We only boast of only two leaders in elective politics Hon Aladwa and Hon Wanyonyi. \u2018\u2019The first governor Dr. Kidero worked hard to put systems in place. Sonko did some work and our bid and when we win it we intend to ride on the goodwill that is in place to help improve the city status and deliver services to Nairobians\u2019\u2019 says Lucheri<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We still have time to make BBI document better<\/em><\/strong>\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\nMr. Lucheri maintains just like his mentor DP Ruto that the BBI document can still be made better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018\u2019Former President Barack Obama once said,\u2019 some African leaders will always change laws to suit their stay in power. This is very wrong\u2019\u2019 says Lucheri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Lucheri is of the view that BBI should be re-engineered to suit the whims and expectations of the general populace as opposed to how it is now where leaders are angling for positions as captured in the BBI document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018\u2019 Unless things are ironed out, I will vote no for the proposed changes\u2019\u2019 adds Lucheri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
