Under sound leadership of Baba, we are the true defenders of democracy here in Kenya\u2019\u2019 says Hon Rex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hon Rex Omolle contested the Nairobi West seat during the ODM Party primaries in 2017 but controversially lost to the incumbent Hon Gare. So far we have managed to help the youths in the area to start up car wash ventures, beauty shops, managed to help the youths in the area to start cafes where the Juakali artisans can readily get something to eat during their daily hustles. Our focus is to help people earn their daily bread as opposed to giving them daily handouts that are not sustainable in the long run\u201d Hon Omolle said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we asked him if he will be contesting again for the seat as the ward representative in the forthcoming general election, Hon Omolle was diplomatic enough but from his response, we could read a yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018\u2019 2022 is quite far, for now, let us focus on helping the many who need to move a step or two.
