{"id":3541,"date":"2020-05-07T20:20:36","date_gmt":"2020-05-07T20:20:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/?p=3541"},"modified":"2020-05-07T20:20:39","modified_gmt":"2020-05-07T20:20:39","slug":"fake-cop-waiganjo-arrested-for-defying-curfew-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/?p=3541","title":{"rendered":"Fake cop Waiganjo Arrested for defying curfew order"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Joshua Waiganjo, a man who ruled the airwaves in the country in 2012 after it emerged that he had for years impersonated a police officer, was on Wednesday night arrested for violating curfew orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is said to have gone past a police roadblock erected at the Komarock junction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Kayole OCPD Wilson Kosgey, the \u201cfake\u201d police officer almost injured a law enforcement officer and was also rude to the officers on duty claiming  he was an officer of the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waiganjo was among 24 other  people arrested for defying the dusk to dawn curfew order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are set to be arraigned in court and  later quarantined at their own cost, Mr Kosgey said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waiganjo&#8217;s case will come up  on May 8  when he will find out if he has a case to answer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joshua Waiganjo, a man who ruled the airwaves in the country in 2012 after it emerged that he had for years impersonated a police officer, was on Wednesday night arrested for violating curfew orders.
